Simple search

Type one or more words into the search box on any page. The catalog finds documents that contain all of the words; letter case does not matter. The list next to the box limits the search to titles, authors, subjects or the source (journal, collection).

Advanced search

The advanced search combines up to three conditions:

• AND — a document must match both conditions;
• OR — one of the conditions is enough;
• NOT — documents that match the condition are left out.

You can also narrow the results by year of publication, language and document type.

Results

Results can be sorted by date added, year, title or author and shown 10, 20 or 50 per page. A document page shows the full description, where the copies are kept and whether they are available. For an article it shows the issue it appeared in.

Indexes and new arrivals

The indexes are alphabetical lists of authors, subjects, keywords, persons and sources with the number of documents for each heading. New arrivals lists recently added documents.

Nothing found?

Check the spelling, remove extra words or choose "All fields". The interface language does not affect the search: the catalog data is mostly in Ukrainian, and you can search in any language the documents are described in.
